Aly was able to execute my landscape designers vision for my backyard meticulously and bring to life my vision for my yard far beyond my expectations.
Aly is reliable, he takes direction, although direction is rarely needed. I know you won’t be disappointed if you hire Aly. The work Aly did for me included hardscaping - fences, arbours, stairs, designing and building a cement planter that doubles has as bench seating, The jewel is the outstanding pond and waterfall feature he created.

We met Aly Downing several years ago when he was referred to us for some remedial work due to a construction project next door. Aly and his team were great to work with and exceeded our expectations for the work. When we needed further work done on our garden and driveway infrastructure we called Downing’s contracting Ltd.
Aly was excellent to work with, and helped us design best options for our spaces and budget, then executed that work with his team, again doing high quality work that was exactly what we needed. We contracted Downing’s Contracting Ltd (Aly, owner) for three separate projects, two are fully complete and the third is awaiting favourable weather in the spring to commence. The first job was to provide a 200 ft.
stamped concrete sidewalk. The second project was a 150 ft. retaining wall that required excavation, drainage, and backfilling, the job was completed to our specifications, and we are incredibly happy with the final look.
